As a Sr. B2B Integration Analyst in EDI and cXML, you will be an integral team member of our innovative Product & Technology organization, contributing greatly to this pivotal transformation in the B2B space.

What You'll Do

Consult with customers to capture business objectives and communicates these requirements and their implications to technical and non-technical contributors to ensure that integrations accurately meet business user’s goals.

Provide a high degree of expertise and knowledge in the management of ODP’s applications.  Gather and drive the development of integrations through development, user acceptance testing and implementation.   

Serve as the primary liaison between the customer and IT.  In addition, be responsible for collaborating with customers to create and document business requirements as well as configure application systems to match those requirements.  Once configured, be responsible for ensuring the appropriate testing is completed to ensure a smooth "go live" scenario.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Gather initial EDI/cXML integration requirements and architecture information from ODP’s B2B customers such as document types, system software, market sites and technical details via phone conversations. 
  • Determine the best ways to meet customer’s requirement specifications. 
  • Perform analysis of customer requirements specifications. 
  • Define the scope and timeline of the B2B integration with ODP customers based on phone conversations. 
  • Determine and document customer’s go live timing expectations. 
  • Create business requirement and data mapping documents.
  • Manage, create test cases, and execute customer testing on integrations, enhancements and/or fixes. 
  • Troubleshoot and resolve B2B integration related issues with customer and third-party e-procurement applications. 
  • Manage integration projects with ODP’s B2B customers from project kick-off through go-live following the B2B integration life cycle (capture customer requirements, define a solution, configure B2B integration environments, create development requirements, define test scenarios, test internally, test with the customer, get approval from customer and production release). 
  • Mentor and train less experienced team members; lead process improvement, automation, enhancement, and maintenance projects; lead multiple customer production issue investigation and resolution tasks.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred. Area of Study: Computer Science or Management Information Systems.
  • 7 years of experience with EDI and/or cXML integration in the Retail industry.
  • Experience writing functional requirement specifications, writing use cases, test plans and test cases.
  • Experience mapping data for the following B2B transactions: Purchase Order, Purchase Order Confirmation, Advanced Ship Notice, and Invoice.
  • Punchout catalog experience a plus.
  • Software development experience a plus.
  • SQL, HTTP, HTTPS, AS2, SFTP experience a plus.
  • The ability to learn quickly and retain training for company specific B2B processes and applications. The ability and self-motivation to experiment and test company specific B2B processes and applications to learn.
  • Knowledgeable of quality assurance methodology.
  • Project management experience. Proven experience with ITIL processes a plus.
  • Strong facilitation and communication skills; strong attention to detail; strong written and verbal communication skills across business and technical audiences, including presentation and interview skills; strong organizing and planning skills with proven ability to multi-task; analysis and problem-solving skills; negotiation skills; ability to work with minimal direction and supervision.
  • Demonstrated ability to organize workload, prioritize, multitask, think analytically, solve technical problems, and establish relationships across business and IT team members.
  • Must be a self-starter showing a high level of initiative. Positive "can-do" attitude.
  • Prior business and or IT operations experience preferred. Ability to work well in a team environment sharing ideas, workflow, technologies, and processes.
  • Expertise in use of Microsoft Office Suite.
