The Coworking Manager will partner with the General Manager to drive traffic and sales into the Coworking hub. The Coworking Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations, including giving tours, managing the pipeline, and proactively engaging with customers to ensure member satisfaction. The Coworking Manager is expected to attend off-site community events to attract prospective clients and customers to drive traffic into the dedicated store and coworking hub.

Through effective selling techniques and the execution of local marketing strategies, the Coworking Manager is expected to maximize retention and space occupancy. The Coworking Manager will partner with the General Manager to educate and reinforce appropriate sales techniques with the retail staff and ensure there is always proper coverage within the Coworking hub.

The essential functions of this position may require you to consent to periodic comprehensive background checks conducted by a third-party.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

·         Instrumental in the execution of the established Coworking sales and revenue plans.

·         Provide business owners and/or members with product offerings and service enhancement recommendations.

·         Within the Coworking hub, educate staff and reinforce appropriate behaviors to effectively grow Coworking revenue.

·         Stay in tune with the changing demands of the marketplace and tailor sales strategies to local market to generate growth, when appropriate.

·         Execute against key performance indicators within the Coworking hub including but not limited to: new members, upgrades, fill rate, tours and events.

·         Involved in various community and external activities designed to drive awareness of Coworking, including but are not limited to: canvassing, chamber events, networking with local businesses, third-party partnership events, and collaborating with their local Business Development Managers-Services (Business Pro).

·         Ad-Hoc business-related tasks as needed; including but not limited to: administrative tasks, facility maintenance activities and hospitality related activities that ensure customer satisfaction.

 

Education & Experience:

·         Level of Formal Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's Degree preferred.

·         Area of Study: Business, Marketing, Community event planning, or related field preferred

·         Years of Experience: Minimum 3 years’ experience in related field

·         Type of Experience: Experience in retail environment - including management and/or supervisory in a sales-driven, customer-oriented company

·         Language Skills: English – verbal and written

·         Technical Competencies:

-      Possess the ability to use computers, Microsoft Suite, and other software, applications and technology to access and use information necessary to complete the job

-      Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills

-      Able to plan, prioritize and execute detailed instructions in a timely and efficient manner

-      Adaptable to a changing environment and able to consistently achieve goals despite stress and ambiguity

-      Must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills

-      Must be adaptable to a changing environment
