Overview

The Customer Service Representative – On Site provides customer service on-site at customer locations.  This position provides on-site service in responding to customer inquiries and requests for assistance.  They may also coordinate on-site Office Depot events, such as product shows and web-instructional training, receiving and stocking shipments of ordered products in designated supply areas, providing desktop delivery of customer orders, and performing inventory of supply area product on hand.

This position provides on-site customer service and assistance at customer locations.  This position will also operate with minimal supervision at these on-site locations, representing Office Depot products and services.  Ongoing attention to customer needs directly impacts sales from that customer, along with supporting a positive relationship and positive Office Depot image with the customer and its employees.

Primary Responsibility:

  1. Provide on-site customer service at customer locations, functioning as the primary representative for Office Depot products and services.
  2. Interact daily with the all levels of customer employees, with continual attention to customer service.
  3. Receive shipments of ordered products, validate and stock designated supply areas at that location.  Coordinate with the appropriate Sales Representative, CFC and Customer Service Centers to research and resolve order discrepancies
  4. Coordinate on-site customer events, including product shows and web-based product training to promote and increase customer awareness of Office Depot products and services.
  5. Provide desktop delivery of customer orders, responding to customer inquiries and providing assistance as needed to ensure a positive customer experience with Office Depot.
  6. Perform inventory count of designated supply areas at the customer location, notifying appropriate parties when there are discrepancies or low product count.
  7. Demonstrate a commitment to Office Depot core values.

Level of Formal Education:   

  • High School diploma or equivalent education preferred

Years of Experience:  

  • Minimum 1 year experience in related field
