Responsibilities

Familiarize with IT audit field and application of data analysis to support phases of audit projects, including Planning and Fieldwork. The student will also perform IT audit fieldwork, by analyzing and testing, IT General controls, IT application and IT security controls. Draw conclusions on the IT controls being tested, based on their results to identify improvement opportunities. Documents testing in automated workpapers. Communicates the results of the review, both orally and in written reports.

In addition to assisting with duties in the Internal Audit department, the intern will complete a project involving program creation, maintenance, communication, implementation, and analysis of results. At the end of the 12-week program, interns from each department will present their project to their team as well as members of senior management.

Qualifications

Candidates should have strong technical skills, including but not limited to the following areas:

· General knowledge of server operative systems (Windows, UNIX).

· Knowledge of Information Security concepts a plus.

· Prior knowledge or experience in internal audit and/or IT is a plus.

Integrity, quality and detail-oriented, professional, positive, eager, confident, good communication skills, proactive and takes initiative. Strong data analysis skills (e.g., SQL language and databases). Strong communication and writing skills. Ability to handle several projects simultaneously.
