Overview

Responsible for providing support to the Outsource Buying Team for both Print and Promotional Products. Engagement with internal teams is an integral part of the position—Supply Chain, Item Control, SKU Creations & Maintenance Teams, and the Product Content and Image Team for website maintenance. Supports customer functions and vendor relationships including reporting and purchase order creation. 
 
 
Primary Responsibilities:
 
1. Obtain proficiency in ODS systems, including AOPS, POM, InStock, and ODSource software. 
2. Produce stock status open order, W/L, Q/A, Response Time reporting using ODSource. 
3. Create non-code and proprietary vendor purchase orders as needed for both Print & Promotional products. 
4. Communication with a wide range of Office Depot associates to ensure that customer requirements are met in a timely fashion. 
5. Ability to demonstrate proficiency in written/verbal communication for both internal and external customers. Demonstrate proper telephone and meeting etiquette.
6. Data Entry skills that are beneficial and accurate for our BSD accounts and the end users utilizing the BSD website.
7. Prioritizes e-mails based on urgency. Identifies more critical and less critical activities and tasks; adjusts priorities when appropriate. Uses time effectively and prevents irrelevant issues or distractions from interfering with work completion. Organize materials or tools within own work area.
8. Recognizes issues, problems, or opportunities and determines whether action is needed. Identifies the need for and collects information to better understand issues, problems, and opportunities. Integrates information from a variety of sources; detects trends, associations, and cause-effect relationships. Creates relevant options for addressing problems/opportunities and achieving desired outcomes. Formulates clear decision criteria; evaluates options by considering implications and consequences; chooses an effective option. Makes decisions within a reasonable time.

Education & Experience
 
Level of Formal Education: High School diploma or equivalent edu preferred
Years of Experience: No previous experience required
