Overview

Responsibilities:
The Senior Lease Administrator is responsible for ensuring Company rights, obligations, and opportunities for all leases are accurately reflected and properly accounted for in the Company’s books and records. This role is responsible for ensuring productive Landlord/Lessor, Vendor and Tenant/Lessee/Subtenant relationships are maintained in terms of all lease agreements. The Sr. Lease Administrator will be responsible for review and management of complex leases and the detailed inventory management of the leased portfolios. They will perform the abstraction of lease data and payment schedule setup and will reconcile the vendor statements to the lease sub-ledger. They will maintain the integrity of the lease database designed to facilitate programs dependent on lease data and the associated lease documentation will also be a requirement of this position. The Sr. Lease Administrator is expected to partner with various departments to validate both financial and non-financial lease data, including reconciliation of the lease inventory sub-ledger to the financial systems. In addition, this position will coordinate accounting adjustments and assist the Accounting team with sub-ledger validations to ensure all leased assets are properly accounted for in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.
Qualifications:
Minimum 1 -2 years of experience in a Lease Administration environment with a Finance or Accounting background
Excellent PC skills (Word, Excel, and Access)
Strong working knowledge of lease/contracts
Strong working knowledge of database applications and reporting tools
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Basic finance and accounting skills
Lease term interpretation skills
