Overview

Responsibilities
The Merchandising Manager is responsible for managing and maintaining the strategic goals. The incumbent will work alongside Merchants, Stores, and the Web Retail environment to ensure customer satisfaction. Management of individual categories and assortments for the Retail, Web and Contract businesses.
Establish/manage work plans to ensure timely & quality delivery of data.
Hires, trains, and develops a staff of merchandisers to work with the merchandise staff to develop processes and consistent customer experiences across all business channels.
Provides the resource for Operations and Field organizations to implement presentation standards and owns the accuracy for all program information; submissions, reporting, forecasting, etc.
Develop & manage relationships to facilitate execution of programs that achieve timelines & deliverables.
Understands reporting needs to identify gaps and develop solutions to accurately assess pricing and products.
Responsible for contributing to the sales goals. Tracks, reports, and identifies root causes of gaps that impact sales EGM. 
Ensure execution across all business channels (pricing, products, promotional vehicles, customer experience) in an Omni channel environment.
Reviews competition and incorporates merchandise improvements.
Works with various business partners, such as; IT, Ecommerce, Store Operations, Visual Merchandising on overall business needs.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
Minimum 5 years experience in related field
Experience in Business and/or Retail preferred
Technological competencies in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Gmail
Strong Communication (written & oral)
Project management
Process driven
Team oriented
Excellent presentation skills & foundational skill
