Overview
The Senior DevOps Engineer - Kubernetes is part of an agile, dynamic team of technical experts responsible for the delivery of Office Depot’s enterprise Kubernetes platform. The ideal candidate will bring expertise and experience in the design, build and deployment of Kubernetes infrastructure and related services for business initiatives. This role is responsible for managing the non-Production and Production Kubernetes environments through the automated provisioning of infrastructure and code by leveraging the latest in configuration management tools and processes.
The ideal candidate can expect to join a team that leverages Agile methodologies to ensure around-the-clock availability and performance of business-critical Kubernetes environments, working closely with many other parts of the organization in order to build and maintain world-class systems.

Meet Phillip Rumpf, our Retail District Sales Manager in the Salt Lake City UT market. Phillip has been with Office Depot for 5 years now, and in that time, he has quickly advanced through our stores organization as a Customer Service Manager, Assistant Store Manager, Store Manager and now as District Sales Manager.
The path to his current position has been challenging and rewarding and his leadership took the opportunity to develop him and encourage his ambitions along the way. As a Store Manager, Phillip was identified as a high potential leader and was selected for our “Blue Angels” program for leadership development which led to his current DSM role.
