Sr. Manager, Marketing Strategy Job Summary:

In this role, you will be responsible for translating briefs into go to market strategy and tactics.  Understand customer behavior and partner with analytics team to develop analysis regarding customer trends and behavior to identify opportunities to be addressed through marketing strategy.

This position will be charged to implement and manage marketing initiatives and B2B sales program that target various segments from SMBs to Enterprise-level accounts to increase lead pipeline and drive revenue.

Additionally, this position will research industry sectors, while translating sales objectives (both opportunity and relationship-based) into an ABM program with objectives, and customized collateral and compelling ABM programs (1:1, 1: few, 1: many) that successfully engage target accounts moving them effectively through buyer’s journey to drive pipeline and revenue.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with research team to identify research needs to fuel strategic insights. Work with marketing team to incorporate research findings into briefs.
  • Partner with merchant team to influence annual and quarterly merchandising strategies to incorporate into marketing strategies.
  • Partner with analytics team to develop analysis regarding customer trends and behavior to identify opportunities to be addressed through marketing strategy.
  • Develop project, campaign, and quarterly briefs to feed media, creative, and customer marketing teams. Socialize drafts to ensure alignment with key internal stakeholders.
  • Partner with routes to market to take overarching strategies and create marketing programs to capture opportunities.
  • Align tactics and timing with lines of business.

Education and Experience:

Level of Formal Education - Bachelor's Degree required, Masters Preferred.

Area of Study - Business Management, Marketing.

Years of Experience - 6 to 8 years.

Type of Experience - Marketing, Advertising, Business Management.

Skills:

  • Ability to translate insights and data into actionable strategies.
  • Ability to lead teams cross functionally.
  • Business and finance understanding.
  • Ability to manage people and develop skill sets to increase team performance.
  • Ability to understand KPIs across business and understand how marketing strategies support business goals.
