Overview

Under the direction and leadership of the Sr. HRIS Manager, the Consultant, Oracle HCM Security, will act as an internal consultant to oversee and assume the role of the Security Advisor. This position will also be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of security functionality within the Oracle Fusion Application.

 

Will provide expertise as the security architect within the Oracle Human Capital Management system to be able to provide support with managing and implementing security user roles, privileges, dynamic security auto provisioning, dynamic role mapping and customizing security functionality to enhance business processes across all HR modules which includes Core HR, Absence, Talent, Payroll, Time and Labor, Oracle Recruiting Cloud (ORC), Performance and Goals, Data Analytics, Manager Self Service (MSS) and Employee Self Service (ESS).

 

The Consultant, Oracle HCM Security, will also work with internal and external auditors to ensure existing security controls and protocols are adhered to and is in compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements (SOX). This position will also be responsible to conduct quarterly security audits and will review, draft and present HR Data Security SOX control narratives for approval by the Manager, Sr. HRIM

 

This role will also be responsible for reviewing Oracle HCM Cloud Readiness Release notes and testing Oracle deliveriered fixes and new security enhancements via maintenance packs for production implementation.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Build Custom Security components to Oracle Cloud HCM, which includes Create/Modify Data roles and its Security Profiles, Job Roles, Application Roles and Duty Roles
  • Conduct Security Audit and Gap Analysis of Security force and Security Department
  • Establish an initial base line of effective security operations as audit and gap analysis continues.
  • Act as an internal consultant and subject matter expert on all security related processes, functionality and various security techniques and best practices
  • Primary contact for Security related production access issues
  • Rationalize different security solutions against requirements, risk, and constraints. Build business justification to support continued investment in security
  • Responsible for acting as a liaison between the business and the InfoSec Team to ensure all security roles and privileges are provisioned accurately
  • Responsible for managing and implementing security user roles, privileges, dynamic security auto provisioning, dynamic role mapping and customizing security functionality to enhance business processes across all HR modules
  • Responsible for leading security related projects to support the organization as required.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in Human Resources, Finance, Marketing
  • Minimum of 5-8 years of previous experience in a large corporate environment performing moderately complex to very complex employee and/or customer activity analysis and research, using qualitative and quantitative measurement and data collection design principles in HR, Finance, or Marketing. 
  • Exposure and involvement in System roles security is a strong plus.
  • Prior project leadership experience is a strong preference.
  • At least three to five years of experience working directly in or closely collaborating with an HR function is a requirement.
  • Experience with large project management and system implementation is preferred.  Must be able to work immediately with online applications and systems, and be capable of quickly learning new applications as a "super-user", for example Cognos or Hyperion reporting systems, SAS analytical reporting software, Oracle HCM Fusion HR, or Finance reporting OTBI and BI Publisher reporting tools, etc.
  • Must possess knowledge of organizational development, change management and quality assurance principle swith a strong understanding of HR processes and data to ensure correct interpretation of data and implementation of KPIs.
  • Strong understanding of HRIS functions and processes, and experience with database tools. Experience with HR systems like Oracle HCM Fusion Cloud and SAP required. Must have a thorough "advanced" understanding of MS Excel, Access, Word, and PowerPoint tools.
  • Must be able to work with highly confidential data and information, with the utmost personal and professional integrity.
