Overview
Responsibilities
IT Audit Interns will support the Internal Audit department with several phases of audit projects (e.g., Sarbanes-Oxley), including planning, walk-throughs, evidence gathering, documentation, and remediation testing (if applicable). They will also conclude on the design and operating effectiveness of internal controls over financial reporting (ICFR), by analyzing and testing IT General controls, IT application controls, and IT security controls. Based on the test results, the intern will assist in identifying areas of improvement and provide management with actionable recommendations to address the risk(s) identified, via Office Depot’s Governance, Risk, & Compliance (GRC) tool.
Qualifications
Candidates should have strong technical skills, including but not limited to the following areas:
The candidate should display integrity and professionalism, as well as be detail-oriented, inquisitive, positive, eager to learn, confident, communicative, and proactive. They should also be able to multi-task and reprioritize tasks based on deadlines.
Please note that this is a part-time internship (20 hours per week) and we are open to remote candidates for the role.
Other Information
To be considered for this role, applicants must be enrolled in an accredited university with a minimum of 60 credit hours completed at time of hire.
