Overview

The Sr. Treasury Analyst provides technical and analytical support primarily for the activities of Treasury and Cash Management, with additional support for projects when needed. Conducts research, tracking, measurements and analysis with hedging activities (foreign exchange, commodities and interest rates), funding activities (capital infusions, intercompany loans, etc.), acquisitions (pre-acquisition due diligence and post-acquisition integration), and cashflow forecasting. Forecasts domestic cashflow, working capital improvement activities, financings and assists in preparation of external or internal presentations. Frequent interaction with Director, VP and EVP associates.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Creates forecasts and variance analysis of interest income and expense. Supplies FX rates and interest rates for forecasting and Annual Operating Plan (AOP).
  • Prepares Treasury related reporting schedules required by External Reporting as part of 10Q and 10K process. Coordinates quarterly ABL debt compliance process.
  • Participates in due diligence process by gathering data and information to assist in acquisition execution including funding decisions (source of funding, appropriate capital structures, etc.). Executes loan cleanups, implements bank account changes, cashflow forecasts and FX hedging.
  • Handle the daily movements of cash between Company bank accounts, and prepare the daily cash position
  • Oversee the day to day operation of our Armored Carrier vendor and troubleshoot any issues that arise
  • Prepare miscellaneous checks for deposit and following up with other departments to collect any missing information
  • Assist in opening bank accounts, updating authorizations, maintaining cash concentration system
  • Administer stock buyback program
  • Maintain bank charges database and research bank charges
  • Assist Treasury director in analytics for cash management as needed
  • Maintain schedules with interest rates, investment rates

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in Finance/Accounting/Management or equivalent experience
  • MBA or CPA preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in related field
  • Experience developing complex analysis, forecasting and financial ratios.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
  • Strong analytical skills. Some knowledge of banking, financial markets, accounting and general corporate finance theory (Working Capital, WACC, etc.).
  • Excellent analytical and business project management skills.
  • Detail oriented, results-oriented, creative thinking. Self-motivated, self-starter. Analytic, influence and problem-solving skills. Works both independently and as well as in a team environment.
