Overview

This position is responsible for development and administration of product content and assortment data to support our Federation strategies, which includes managing accuracy of product content, product search and keyword rankings, item assortment, Federation net cost, and other data elements required to implement and maintain the Federation monetization program. It supports the tracking and compliance reporting of all Federation monetization campaigns along with managing the data process with our key partner Etilize and requires a high level of Company systems knowledge.
 
This position will require leading projects across multiple functions in a fast paced, dynamic environment and require a demonstrated ability to communicate complex ideas and strategy in a highly collaborative environment.
 
The ideal candidate would thrive in a fast paced, highly ambiguous environment.
 
Etilize Product Content & Catalog management:  
 
Day to day activities include reviewing accuracy of Federation content library information.
Manage process with Etilize partner to submit corrections to product content/catalogs and confirm completion to user views across all websites.
Complete all data reviews and uploads to ensure information submitted to Etilize is accurate, timely, and complete.  
Lead and participate problem solving sessions to understand issues as they arise and develop solutions for both short-term and long-term improvement.
Expected outcome of all activities will result in complete accuracy of all content and catalogs offered on the Federation content library.
 
Federation product assortment optimization & management:  
Support all data processes with Company and Thalerus to maintain Federation assortment.
Manage relationship with Company solutions team to maintain and develop all data file transfers / feeds to support the Federation Product Management portal and successful execution of the Federation Monthly Item file.
Manage and maintain cross-reference lists to include exact matches for OEM products and substitute lists for OEM and private brand items.
Complete monthly audit of Fed item file to ensure accuracy and implementation of most recent improvements to data.
Work with Fed partners for continuous improvement ideas and to ensure each partner is maximizing their utilization of the file to fill from OD SC.
 
Management of search optimization:  Maintain search result rankings files
Conduct quarterly review and update of search rankings to reflect best result analytical data from previous quarter and YTD.
Maintain and manage Keyword search lists and ensure all products have proper assignments in Federation content library database (Etilize) 
Conduct periodic reviews as necessary of Federation search results across partner websites to ensure results return as desired.
Manage process to collect issue reporting and effectively correct with Etilize.
 
Content monetization program management & compliance:  Management of all administrative aspects of Federation content monetization program.
Tracking of all campaign information (mfr, period dates, elements, costs, etc.)
Implementation of all search, keyword, advertising elements, etc. in partnership with Etilize to support elements of confirmed campaigns.
Development and management of manufacturer compliance reporting that confirms successful completion of committed monetization campaigns.
 
Federation Support Mailbox management: Managing requests and reported issues by all Federation dealers.
Working with cross functional partners for fast responses and quality solutions to reported issues / questions. 
Provide guidelines and recommendations for future procedures with the goal of maximizing efficiency of Federation operations and allowing dealers/ partners to fully utilize benefits of Office Depot network relationship. 
Develop business case for development projects to benefit overall Federation operations and performance.
 
Level of Formal Education: Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
Area of Study: Business, Administration/Finance
Years of Experience: Minimum 4 year experience in related field
Type of Experience: Sales Financial background: Analysis/Implementation/ROI/Cash Flow/P&L
 
Special Certifications: 
MBA preferred
 
Language Skills:
English
Excellent communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills.
 
Technical Competencies:
SQL, Hyperion Applications, COGNOS, MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint, Visual Basic Add-in

    Overview
