Overview

Looking for a highly skilled and proven Senior Graphic Designer/Production Artist to become an integral member of our in-house creative studio. This person will be responsible for the conception, creation and production of a variety of marketing materials and campaigns to support the company in both contract (BSD) and retail channels. This includes; direct mail/catalogs, store signage, newspaper ads, web/email graphics, social campaigns, video and more.

 

Candidates should be comfortable in a fast-paced, collaborative creative environment. They should be open to receiving direction/ideas/learning, as well as providing direction and sharing ideas with fellow creative team members. Excellent creative and communication skills (written/verbal/presentation) are a must.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Concept creative campaign and advertisements that work across all platforms (In-store, Print and Digital) 
  • Create and design branded systems and graphic toolkits that can be implemented in seasonal and special projects
  • Design elevated and effective brand experiences that enhance the brand and the overall customer experience
  • Drive innovation with creative execution and storytelling across all print and digital mediums including stores, social, email, display and site experience
  • Build concept boards, sketches and photo plans
  • Partner closely with Copywriters, Production, Pre-Media and Marketing to develop concepts that align to company objectives
  • Ensure brand and content consistency across all teams and every customer touchpoint, reviewing work for adherence to brand guidelines
  • Support Design Manager in trend research and developing campaign concepts to provide creative solutions that meets business objectives

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Fine Art, Visual Interaction Design, Graphic Design or equivalent design-related field
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in a related field
  • Exceptional creativity and innovation (design principles, color theory, typography hierarchy, ideation & branding)
  • Expert knowledge of color and image enhancement techniques
  • Solid understanding of print & digital design (and production).
  • Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator
  • Experience with Html/CSS and interactive design
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines, working cross-functionally
  • A self-starter who operates with urgency, focus, and discipline
  • Excellent communication skills – written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal
  • Strong team player who can build strong relationships within all levels of the organization
