Overview

ODP Corporation is looking for an experienced Sr. Program Manager to help drive medium to large IT programs for the Retail Division. Using your experience with managing application development and infrastructure workstreams, you’ll ensure programs are aligned to the company’s strategic vision and prioritized to deliver maximum value.  This position has a wide breadth of business exposure, including IT, Supply Chain, HR, Finance, and more.  Agile, waterfall, and hybrid methodologies will be used depending on the Project.

What you’ll bring to the table:

  • Experience driving medium to large programs to meet organizational goals, managing key milestones, and owning the technical connection between Business owners and Tech Product Managers, to meet objectives, and improve the customer journey
  • Ability to establish project and program structure, with a cadence that fosters collaboration, communication, and reporting on multiple IT workstreams
  • Partnership with Business leaders and Tech key stakeholders to locate opportunities and develop and prioritize work within the project or program 
  • Vision to track intra- and inter-program dependencies and work with development and infrastructure teams to mitigate potential risks and issues
  • Experience working in an agile application development environment
  • A “Do whatever it takes” independent mindset to deliver project or program goals and objectives on schedule to maximum benefits.

 What you’ll need to be successful:

  • A team-based mindset focused on delivering an incredible customer experience
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate complex scenarios in simple terms to various levels of leadership
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management Information Systems, or other related field
  • 5+ years of managing medium to large application development projects/programs for Fortune 500 companies
  • Industry certifications like PMP, PRINCE2, PgMP, CSM preferred
  • Experience using project management information systems and tools like Jira, Confluence, SmartSheet, SharePoint, etc.

Retail District Sales Manager

Meet Phillip Rumpf, our Retail District Sales Manager in the Salt Lake City UT market. Phillip has been with Office Depot for 5 years now, and in that time, he has quickly advanced through our stores organization as a Customer Service Manager, Assistant Store Manager, Store Manager and now as District Sales Manager.

The path to his current position has been challenging and rewarding and his leadership took the opportunity to develop him and encourage his ambitions along the way. As a Store Manager, Phillip was identified as a high potential leader and was selected for our “Blue Angels” program for leadership development which led to his current DSM role.
