Overview

The Product Manager will be accountable for the ideation, development, launch and management of Intel offerings, with a specific focus with Office Depot retail. Leveraging industry and Office Depot specific offer development frameworks and methodologies. This position will play a lead role with Intel to ensure the successful development and ongoing success and performance of their offerings. The Product Manager will perform market research, meet with industry analysts, and meet with potential buyers and users to identify specific industry problems, and then develop and help launch offerings to provide outcome-based technology solutions. Specific knowledge is required to develop offerings that combine hardware, software, advanced technology, etc.

 

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Be the point person in merchandising for Intel retail products, programs, roadmaps, etc.
  • Keep the merchandising team up to date on new Intel retail technology and plans.
  • Evaluate performance of Intel-based retail products on a weekly/monthly.
  • Maintain and provide all sales tracking as per the Intel CSI agreement with Office Depot.
  • Ensure data base for assigning Intel chip to PC hardware SKU is always up to date and accurate.
  • Support the maintenance and refreshing of Intel retail assets in-store and on-line on an as needed basis.
  • Support and help coordinate any training events or actions supporting development of retail Intel knowledge.
  • Interface and communicate with OD cross functional teams, including finance, marketing, merchandising, retail operations and other to help resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Document and upload all Proof of Performance (POP) required for designated roles and responsibilities.

 

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Level of Formal Education: Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
  • Years of Experience: Minimum 5 years experience in related field
    • Type of Experience: Current knowledge of the PC Market and Intel products
  • Skills and Ability:
    • Highly motivated / self-starting
    • Project Manager experience
    • Detail oriented
    • Organizational agility
  • Information Systems: Accomplished in MS Office – Word, PP, Excel
  • Personal Attributes: Strong written/verbal communication skills
