As a Sr. SDE for Supply Chain and Logistics Services, you will be an integral team member of The ODP Corporation’s innovative Product & Technology organization, contributing greatly to this pivotal transformation in the B2B space. You will support a variety of areas involved with Transportation & Logistics as well as Warehouse Management systems.

 

What You’ll Do

  • Design, implement and maintain cloud-based n-tier Java-based applications. Use the latest technology that involves integrating with external systems with RESTful APIs in a microservice architecture.
  • Contribute to all phases of the SDLC following Agile methodology.
  • Write scalable and efficient code using Office Depot tech stack and framework that aligns with our technology and performance standards.
  • Support, test and debug any enhancement to the current software to ensure a stable environment and high performance within our Supply Chain systems.
  • Maintain up to date technology documentation.
  • Participate in code reviews.

 

Requirements 

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience 

3+ years of work experience as a software development engineer (SDE) with hands-on experience in the following: 

  • Designing and building intuitive REST APIs
  • Pub/Sub messaging systems
  • Java development with a framework like Spring Boot or Quarkus
  • Microservice designs and architecture
  • Containerization with Docker
  • Container orchestration using Kubernetes
  • CI/CD pipelines like Jenkins
  • Source control tools like Git
  • Experience with RDBMS databases like PostgreSQL or Oracle database
  • Familiarity with public cloud resources like database, object storage, and messaging 
  • Frontend development with a modern Javascript framework (React preferred)  
  • Automated unit, performance, and integration testing with JUnit, k6, Postman
