Overview

The Digital Operations Specialist will collaborate with the Digital Operations Manager with managing the trafficking, delivery, optimizations, and reporting of digital ad campaigns across the Office Depot media eco-system. You will work with Digital Operations manager and cross functionally with other departments to address and resolve all ad ops issues in a timely manner. This role will also work closely with our sales team as well as agency partners on a regular basis ensuring all digital advertising campaigns run smoothly and exceed client expectations, KPIs and revenue deliverables.

 

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Key contributor to client retention and renewal by performing all duties of ad operations including onboarding, trafficking, troubleshooting, campaign optimizations, and reporting
  • Develop campaign reporting and analyze campaign performance offering optimization recommendations as well as proactively think about potential roadblocks to meeting campaign performance goals
  • Own the creative handoff process leading to a smooth and successful launch of all digital campaigns by gathering all assets (imagery, copy, etc.) from brands, merchants, and agencies ensuring they meet all technical requirements, and work with legal confirming brand guideline compliance
  • Gather campaign screenshots and monitor/analyze campaign performance allowing our team to collect all committed vendor funded media dollars
  • Troubleshoot and communicate with internal stakeholders and brand partners any issues that may arise with creative banners, delivery, site issues, custom executions, under/over-delivery
  • Work with internal teams’ email, marketing, creative development on ad hoc basis
  • Develop and implement new processes to improve workflows between team members and agency teams

 

Qualifications and Requirements: 

  • Education: Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
    • Area of Study: Marketing, Communications
  • Years of Experience: Minimum 5 year experience in related field
    • Type of Experience: Agency and Retail experience a plus
  • Skills and Ability:
    • Good knowledge of online advertising ecosystem and advertising terms
    • Experience with analyzing and pulling data within Google Analytics and other analytic platforms
    • Familiarity with Google Ad Manager and other ad-serving platforms (not required but strongly preferred)
    • Strong knowledge of computer systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
    • Experience with project management platforms such as JIRA
    • Experience with HTML, JavaScript, Flash, Pixels, Tags
    • Proven characteristics of consistent accuracy and attention to detail
    • Strong multi-tasking and organizational capabilities
    • Effective verbal and communication skills
  • Information Systems:
    • Google Analytics, Google Ad Manager and Ad-Serving Platforms (preferred)
  • Personal Attributes:
    • Motivated, energetic team player
    • An analytical mindset
    • Eagerness to learn
